The benefit of adding a site or a link to a directory is that it gives you backlinks. If you receive backlinks from an authority site or directory then your site or link will inherit and benefit.

We add all premium members' sites / links to our Pingler directory as a complimentary gesture on our part to thank you for your support and in return this give you more backlinks. Pingler is highly ranked as a leading authority ping service.

The only drawback is that if you link or site is not in our directory you will not benefit from a link back from us. There are those who believe that Google may even penalize sites or links that are submitted to directories, but we have yet to see any such action.

In any case, you may opt out of the directory at any time in your account control panel.
